The Met Office has issued a major rain warning update as the impacted area has been extended to include even more Britons.
A yellow rain warning is in place across England and Wales from 9pm tonight to 8pm tomorrow.
The UK's national weather service confirmed the update was issued after the warning area was extended further north and east.
Local authorities in the East Midlands, East of England, London and the South East, North West England, South West England, Wales, West Midlands and Yorkshire & Humber have all been identified as at risk from the warning.

The warning could result in spray and flooding on roads which could delay journey times.
Flooding and public transport issues also remain possible.
The Met Office said: "Rain, heavy and persistent at times, will move northeast across much of England and Wales during Thursday night and Friday morning, with some drier spells following across southern and eastern England for a time.
"It will also become windy with gusts of 45-50 mph inland and as high as 60 mph on some southern coasts.

"The rain will clear from the northwest through Friday afternoon and evening.
"Widely 10-20mm of rain is likely, but in the wettest spots 30-50mm is possible, and some high ground of West Wales could see 70mm.
"Also a chance of 20-30mm of rain within 2 hours if heavy showers and thunderstorms develop over southern England."
The warning comes as flood alerts are in place.

Two flood alerts have been issued in England, the Environment Agency has confirmed.
Victoria Underground Station faced disruption earlier today.
Circle and District line trains did not stop at the station due to flooding.
A sign at Victoria Station told people to travel to St James Park Station and change to the westbound service to reach Victoria.
The eastbound District line platform at Victoria Station re-opened around 8.20am.
