Virgin Atlantic has announced new daily flights to Seoul, South Korea, as part of its continued expansion eastward.
The service to Incheon International Airport will commence on March 29, 2026, from London Heathrow Airport.
Virgin Atlantic expects the route will attract predominantly leisure customers as well as corporate travellers and those visiting friends and relatives.
These travellers will be drawn by South Korea's renowned food culture, shopping experiences and the popular culture.
The flights will be in the air for over 12 hours

The service will also provide easy connections to Japanese destinations including Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka, Okinawa and Hokkaido.
These connections create new opportunities for Virgin Atlantic Holidays and Flying Club loyalty members.
The new service will create East Asian connections through collaboration with SkyTeam alliance members, including Korean Air, Vietnam Airlines, China Eastern, China Airlines, Garuda Indonesia and Xiamen Airlines.
Through Seoul Incheon, passengers will be able to connect to 15 cities via codeshare agreements with Korean Air.
These connections include the coastal city of Busan in South Korea and multiple Japanese destinations.
Travellers can also access Sydney and Brisbane in Australia, Auckland in New Zealand, and Vietnamese cities including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang.
Virgin Atlantic will operate the Seoul route using its Boeing 787-9 aircraft. Tickets for the new service will go on sale on May 14, 2025.
The daily service will provide consistent options for travellers between London and Seoul.

GETTYJet2.com and Jet2holidays have also announced a series of new routes at London Luton Airport for summer 2026.
The routes will fly to Corfu, Kos, Preveza, Skiathos and Menorca, with Preveza and Skiathos being exclusive to Jet2.
Four of the new routes are to popular destinations across Greece, bringing the total number of Greek hotspots offered by the company to seven.
The expansion means customers will have a total of 22 sunshine destinations to choose from for summer 2026.
