Britons travelling with Virgin Atlantic will soon notice some changes on board

Virgin Atlantic is set to launch its new autumn/winter menu across all cabins this week, on October 2, 2024.

The airline's latest culinary offering focuses on modern British cuisine, seasonality and comfort.

Passengers can expect a range of dishes designed to cater to various preferences, whether they're looking to indulge or maintain a wellness-focused approach during their journey.

The menu refresh comes alongside new feel-good beverages in Upper Class and enhanced wellness features in Virgin Atlantic's flagship London Heathrow Clubhouse, including essential oils and a dedicated Yoga Retreat.

Virgin Atlantic has introduced a range of feel-good beverages in Upper Class to support rest and relaxation. These include Three Spirit Nightcap, Lo Bros Kombucha, TRIP Elderflower Mint Mindful Blend and Perfect Ted Juicy Peach.

The Upper Class wine selection has also been refreshed, featuring elegant whites, reds, and a B Corp certified rosé from various regions.

Premium passengers can look forward to dishes like honey and mustard chicken with potato gratin, Cumberland sausage with parsley mashed potatoes, and Thai vegetable curry. Sweet and savoury Mile High Tea options are also available.

In Economy, choices include sausage with colcannon mashed potato or tomato and mascarpone pasta. Mile High Tea features finger sandwiches and warm scones with jam and clotted cream.

Both Premium and Economy travellers can now enjoy Lucky Saint, a refreshing non-alcoholic beer, starting this October.

Chief customer and operating officer Corneel Koster commented: "It's always exciting when we unveil a brand-new menu, in our mouth-watering culinary style. By combining seasonality and comfort with premium ingredients, we are offering our customers an elevated in-flight dining experience to enjoy and indulge, while also recognising the importance of relaxation during travel.
