Visitors can also enjoy “boat trips” and "pale sandy beaches" during their visit, according to the clip.
Experts at Stay in Devon: “Tucked away on the southern coast of Devon, Salcombe is an iconic seaside town and one of the country’s best-loved holiday destinations.
“Situated on the banks of the Salcombe Estuary, this Devonshire harbour town features pristine sandy beaches, calm turquoise waters and an abundance of traditional seafood shacks."
According to Experience Salcombe, September is an ideal time to visit the area because there are fewer tourists.
“September is actually an idea where the September holidays aren’t quite as crowded, making it easier to take advantage of a wide variety of diverse activities," the experts said.
Daytime temperatures typically reach 18°C in the region in September, falling to 11°C at night.
According to Weather2Travel, Salcombe typically enjoys five hours of bright sunshine each day in the area in September.
It also notes that “there are usually 13 days with some rain in Salcombe in September and the average monthly rainfall is 89mm".
One of the most popular attractions in Salcombe is the estuary that stretches from its waterfront, which serves as a good base for water activities.
