Greece is a popular destination for holidaymakers looking for a sunny getaway.

However, Britons have been issued a warning as new higher taxes are set to be introduced in peak travel months.

Holidaymakers will need to pay more tourist fees in the summer season.

This is a climate levy and the charges will be used for a reserve fund for reconstruction efforts following natural disasters.
