The new routes will fly to Agadir and Marrakech

Jet2 has announced two new routes to Morocco for winter 2025/26, expanding its North African destinations with services from Bournemouth to Agadir and Leeds Bradford to Marrakech.

The expansion means the airline will operate flights to Morocco from eight UK bases, responding to continued strong demand for beach holidays and city breaks in the region.

The announcement comes in the same week that Jet2 launched its first-ever flights and holidays from Bournemouth Airport.

The Bournemouth to Agadir service will operate weekly on Tuesdays from November 4, 2025, through to March 24, 2026.

This expansion brings Jet2's total destination count from Bournemouth Airport to 13 destinations in winter 25/26 and 25 destinations overall.

The new route makes Bournemouth the seventh UK airport offering flights to Agadir in winter 25/26, alongside Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Manchester and London Stansted.

The Leeds Bradford to Marrakech route will operate twice weekly, with flights on Tuesdays and Fridays from October 3, 2025, through to April 28, 2026.

The new service brings Leeds Bradford Airport's winter 25/26 destination count to 22, including two Moroccan destinations, with 58 destinations in total.

Marrakech will now be served by Jet2 from six UK airports, with Leeds Bradford joining Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester, Newcastle and London Stansted.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: "We have experienced a phenomenal reaction since launching our Morocco programme, with customers and independent travel agents jumping at the chance to book our award-winning flights and holidays to both Agadir and Marrakech.

"We are very excited to be giving even more holidaymakers the chance to experience these incredible destinations.

"We know these new routes from Bournemouth and Leeds Bradford will be extremely popular."

Agadir boasts a five-and-a-half-mile stretch of golden sand, featuring hotels, waterparks, bars and restaurants along its west coast location.

The coastal city also offers visitors the chance to explore traditional souks, minarets and tea cafes, as well as nearby attractions like Taghazout fishing village.

Marrakech, known as the Red City, features maze-like streets leading to hidden riads with tiled courtyards.

Visitors can choose between city breaks in central locations or resort-style accommodations in four and five-star hotels, combining city experiences with modern amenities.
