Britons looking to venture somewhere new can explore a beautiful destination in Bulgaria thanks to Jet2.
Jet2holidays has announced that it is expanding its Bulgaria offering for Summer 2024 by adding package holidays to the "ancient seaside town" Sozopol. Holidaymakers will be able to travel from Birmingham, Bristol, East Midlands, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Liverpool John Lennon, London Stansted, Manchester and Newcastle International.
Bulgaria is a beloved holiday destination because it provides something for everyone, from beautiful beaches to incredible mountain landscapes to bustling cities - not to mention it's a country steeped in history.
Jet2 said: "By adding hotels across the popular resort to its portfolio, the tour operator is giving customers and independent travel agents the opportunity to book package holidays to Sozopol this summer.

"The new hotels on sale range from three to four-star and offer board options including bed and breakfast and all-inclusive, meaning customers can choose from a selection of accommodations to suit their needs and budgets.
"Combining white sand beaches with charming architecture, holidaymakers visiting Sozopol can discover the resort’s Old Town of cobbled streets, terracotta-topped houses and distinctive wooden buildings, along with a wide variety of shops, bars and restaurants.
"For relaxation, there are the town’s two beautiful beaches - Central Beach and Harmanite Beach, or the incredible wild beach at Dyuni.
"Nature lovers can head to the Ropotamo Nature Reserve or the Blatoto Alepu National Park, while families can enjoy a fun-filled day in the Neptun Aqua Park, a 50,000 sq. metre waterpark."
The travel operator assured customers that its new offering grants plenty of flexibility, with up to 21 weekly flights operating to Bulgaria (Bourgas) during peak periods this summer.
The team at Jet2holidays continued: "The announcement means holidaymakers can enjoy a getaway to Sozopol and take advantage of all the benefits of booking a package holiday with Jet2holidays, including VIP customer service, transfers to and from the airport and Atol protection, along with friendly flight times and a generous 22kg baggage allowance."

PA IMAGESOne holidaymaker told Tripadvisor their views on Sozopol Old Town. They called it a "wonderful place to wander about taking photos and admiring the views and local culture".
They added: "Plenty of little shops, cafes and restaurants. The views are amazing."
For those who enjoy historical sites, the Church of The Most Holy Mother was described as "beautifully ornate and richly decorated".
Beachgoers can lounge on Kavatsite Beach, which one visitor described as the "best beach in Bulgaria". Another holidaymaker said: "It is a must-go beach of you are visiting Sozopol. The beach is clean with fine yellow sand, beautiful dunes with sand lilies, and shallow water good for children."
