The couple said the lifestyle in Spain is very appealing to people
Living in Spain has many positives such as sunny skies and nice beaches which is what a pair of expats have experienced.
The couple, from the YouTube channel, Livin' La Vida Costa, shared how they find life is in Spain. The pair shared the first reason they moved to Spain was for the lifestyle there.
The couple said: "You look at the Spanish people and regardless of social status or income, they are outside the house, they are always taking walks, they live on the beach, they are going for runs, they are going out to restaurants.
"The lifestyle is also about being social."
The couple have had a really positive experience abroad in Spain
GETTYTo go with the social side, the expats noticed how enjoyable people were and the energy that they had.
The expats explained: "One late night, there was a group of women, I would say about 10 of them, probably in their mid-70s, just sitting at a table, laughing and chit-chatting.
"They were just having a good time and were acting as though they were teenagers. It's just so refreshing to see elderly people that age just enjoying life."
The couple felt that the way of life in Spain was more relaxed and people did not feel as if they had the weight of the world on their shoulders.
The pair agreed that their health has improved since moving to Spain. They felt that tasks which would be more challenging at home were a piece of cake abroad.
They said: "It's so easy to hit our daily step count of 10,000 steps, it is so easy and effortless.
"We walk to the grocery store, get what we need, our supplies for the day and fresh fruit, vegetables, meats, it's just a way of life. It all ties in together with the lifestyle. It's effortless here whereas at home to eat right and exercise requires effort."
They said that at home they both pick up bad habits such as snacking often or watching too much TV whereas when they are in Spain, they are encouraged to head outside.

They explained: "We snack too much at home and eat a lot of processed foods. Here, we are constantly eating better, we're making better health choices. We're not snacking, we don't sit in front of the TV, we are out enjoying this.
"I don't think it's any exaggeration that I've lost about 10 to 15 lbs. I feel better, we just feel so much better.
"There are no obstacles to your lifestyle here."
