Expats have shared what they love most and the "best thing" about moving to the UK
Expats will often choose to move to the UK to experience its culture, tradition and career opportunities.
It is the 7th most common place for expats to move to across the world, research showed.
Those who have moved to the UK have shared some of the best things about living in the country and why others may want to move here.
They explained it is the "best" for those looking to form new connections with people.

"The UK is probably the best place to meet people from all over the world," experts at Study Portals Master said.
"Last year, in 2021/2022 around 680,000 international students were pursuing their degrees in the UK. That is a lot.
"Not to mention the huge expat communities in cosmopolitan hubs such as London or Manchester etc – there are more international people in the UK than the population of some countries."
The opportunity to meet new people is not the only reason why people may choose the UK for their new home.
Expats shared the working situation is what they loved most about the UK, according to the Expat Insider 2023 survey.
This looked at factors such as personal finance, expat essentials, quality of life, ease of settling in and working abroad into account.
The survey looked at countries across the country and the UK was in the top 10 for career prospects, work culture and satisfaction.
An impressive 70 per cent of expats were happy with their work prospects in the country and they believed it had improved their careers.
"What I love best about the UK is the opportunity to improve my work situation," an expat from Italy said.
Some 67 per cent of expats shared they were happy with their lives in the UK overall.

Britain is also known for its impressive history, beautiful beaches and breathtaking countryside.
Still, some Britons may decide to move abroad for a new experience or work opportunities.

Portugal was among the best places for British expats to relocate to, according to Global Citizen Solutions. Spain, Greece, Cyprus and Malta also made the list.
Portugal ranked particularly highly on the Quality of Life Index, cost of living, personal safety reports and friendliness of locals towards expats.
