Greece is one of the most popular destinations for expats but moving there comes with its challenges.
A pair of expats have shared on YouTube two significant problems people face when they relocate.
Discussing on their YouTube channel Sunpire, the expats said: "Moving to Greece can feel like a dream but it does come with some challenges.
"We have been living here for eight months and one of the main problems is the financial struggle."
Greece is a popular destination for expats but it has its complications
PABefore moving to Greece, make sure you have enough money in savings or an external income.
The expats said: "If you come here and do not have a plan in place and think you will figure it out here, it might be very challenging. There are a lot of things that you do not expect.
"The most important thing is to have stability before you come here. Have your financial situation secured before you even think about moving."
People work from home in Greece but with the high rate of inflation and cost of living it has its complications.
The second biggest problem is the language barrier. While most Greeks do speak English, there are still complications with communication.
The pair said: "It is true that here in Greece, a lot of people speak English but most of them speak it only to a basic level.
"So if you want to get into a more in-depth conversation, or if you want to get personal and know some people, this will be almost impossible. If you do not speak Greek or are not willing to learn, this will complicate things."
Learning Greek brings challenges so consider researching areas with a large expat population. This helps with socialising and mixing with others.
