People planning on moving abroad have several things to consider - such as the cost of living and visa requirements.
Some may be considering taking a dog abroad. However, Britons should understand the different rules in place before moving them across seas.
Andy, an expat in Spain, has taken to YouTube to share what needs to be considered if planning on moving your dog overseas.
He said: "Before you even think of coming, check your dog's breed is not on the equivalent to the dangerous dogs list in Spain."

A special permit will be needed, including a health certificate and proof of rabies vaccination if your dog is on the restricted breed list.
Andy said: "Everybody knows about pit bulls but then you also have Dobermans. You just need to be aware."

Individuals will have to make sure their dog has had all their vaccinations and is microchipped which is mandatory in Spain.
If you are driving with your dog in Spain, there are different rules for where your dog can sit in the car.
Andy said: "When you are transporting with dogs, legally in Spain they can not go in the front. They have to be in the back of the boot either in a cage secured with a harness."
Unlike Britain where dogs are allowed to sit in the front seat, dogs have to be in the back otherwise individuals run the risk of being stopped but the police.
Andy explained: "A good website to look at is N332 which is driving in Spain. It is put together by Guardia Civil in their spare time in English and it will give you a lot of really good information."
