Expats have shared their favourite things about moving to the UK

The UK is the 7th most common place for expats to live in the world, according to research.

Expats explained the reason why everyone who moves to the UK may have done so.

Expats spoke about their experiences and what they liked and didn't like.

This took factors like Quality of Life, Ease of Settling In and Working Abroad into account.

Personal Finances and Expat Essentials, such as housing and language, were also considered.

This came as the best, and worst, places for expats to live were shared in the Expat Insider 2023 survey.

It said what expats love most about the UK, and why everyone who moves there wants to do so, is the working situation.

"What I love best about the UK is the opportunity to improve my work situation," an expat from Italy said.

The UK made it into the top 10 for career prospects, work culture and satisfaction.

Some 70 per cent of expats were happy with their prospects and believed moving to the UK had improved their careers.

The UK also got a decent ranking in expat essentials and the ease of settling in.

Overall, 67 per cent of expats are happy with their lives in Britain.
