Moving to a new country is exciting but can also come with a lot of challenges.
An expat in Spain shared what has made their move to the country easier.
He explained the benefits of learning the language before moving as this will help expats settle into life abroad.
"It's fundamental to learn the local language before you come and live here in Spain," the expat said.

"Remember there are different languages around the country."
Knowing the local language can help expats to integrate, which can be a big challenge when living overseas.
"If you do learn the local language you'll be able to assimilate into Spanish culture a lot faster," he said on his YouTube channel Spain Speaks.
Spain is a popular option for Britons looking to move to Europe.
It has sunny weather, beautiful beaches and a relatively cheap cost of living.
It showed Malaga, Alicante and Valencia were the best destinations for a happier life.
Expats in Spain have a happiness level of 87 per cent, which is above the global average of 72 per cent.

This comes as Aldi expanded in Spain giving a huge boost for British expats and tourists.
Aldi is one of the most popular supermarkets with Britons and many will look for the familiar shop when abroad.
The retailer has opened 10 Aldi stores in Spain in recent weeks as it plans to continue expanding.
Aldi projects to have 15 per cent more colleagues at the end of 2023 compared to the end of 2022.
