Moving abroad is an exciting prospect for many. Whether it's a brand new culture that excites you, a lower cost of living, increased job opportunities or a slower pace of life, Britons are flocking to different countries at all stages of life.
Cora Fraser, a 31-year-old teacher from Scotland, decided to take the plunge and move to Dubai five years ago.
She spoke exclusively to GB News about her favourite aspect of living in the UAE city.
Known for its year-round scorching temperatures, plentiful job opportunities, tax-free income and lavish lifestyle, the decision to move to Dubai is an easy one for many.

However, it's not for everyone, with Cora suggesting that to enjoy the city, you might need to be a specific type of person.
This time, the expat spoke to GB News about why being a teacher gave her an upper hand when moving to the Middle East.
Relocating to Dubai is an attractive concept for many teachers as they are paid very well - the best in the world according to Teaching Abroad Direct.
This means that there are huge influxes of teachers relocating, making it easier to form friendships with like-minded people.
Asked if it was easy to make friends when she initially moved, Cora said it was - but only because of her teaching job.
"I always think that I've got more friends here than I would at home," she admitted. "I know lots of people who aren't in teaching who really don't feel like this though.
"If they maybe don't have close friends at work, they're just a bit stuck."
Cora explained that the process of moving was made easy because she wasn't dropped straight into the deep end.
Instead, she was collected from the airport on arrival and given an apartment in a block full of other teachers, provided by her school.
She said: "All of us started at the same time - there were [about] 40 of us. It was kind of like uni.
"When you all start at the same time and live in the same building, you can pop to each other's apartments all the time."
The teacher explained that she lived in this style of accommodation for her first two years in Dubai, before finding her own accommodation with the housing allowance provided.
"I thought that was really easy," she said. "I had an easy, ready-made group of friends."
Although Cora loves life in Dubai, no place is perfect and being away from your home can be a challenge.
