TUI and easyJet are the latest airlines to announce new routes from two UK airports.
easyJet is set to launch its longest-ever flight later this month, connecting London Gatwick to the sun-drenched African paradise of Cape Verde.
The route, which launches on March 31, will transport holidaymakers to the exotic island destination in just six hours.
The new service marks a significant milestone for the budget airline as it expands its reach to this mesmerising location off Africa's coastline.

Flights to Cape Verde will operate three times weekly, with departures every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Return tickets for the flights are on offer for less than £300 and are listed on easyJet's official website.
Meanwhile, TUI has announced a new route from Cardiff to Salzburg starting in December 2025.
The weekly Saturday flights from Cardiff Airport are on sale as part of Crystal Ski's winter programme.
The seasonal service will commence on December 20, 2025, with the final return flight from Salzburg scheduled for March 7, 2026.
The specific details of Crystal Ski packages are yet to be announced by TUI.
This expansion by both easyJet and TUI highlights growing airline confidence in new leisure routes as travel demand continues to strengthen.
In other new flight news, Jet2 has announced new flights to Greece from UK airports just in time for summer 2025.

The easyJet route will take off at the end of the month
PARhodes, Corfu, Crete (Chania) and Kos will benefit from more than 17,000 extra seats between July and October 2025.
The expansion comes in response to strong demand from holidaymakers and travel agents.
New services will operate from Bristol, East Midlands, Manchester and London Stansted airports. The move forms part of Jet2's biggest ever Greece programme for summer 2025.
Customers can choose between flight-only bookings with Jet2.com or ATOL-protected package holidays with Jet2holidays.
