easyJet launches new packages to African holiday spot with year-round temperatures of 28°C

The expansion marks a significant move for the tour operator, which will operate flights from London Gatwick to the tropical island destination.

Located on the eastern side of Cape Verde, the island of Sal is gaining popularity for its pristine beaches and stunning ocean views.

The destination boasts a vibrant nightlife, featuring live music and beachfront restaurants for visitors to enjoy.

Holidaymakers can expect perfect weather conditions throughout the year, with the island maintaining an average temperature of 28°C across all seasons.

easyJet holidays will offer packages during all seasons, making it an ideal year-round holiday destination. The tour operator is offering three luxury Melia resorts on Sal Island, catering to different holiday preferences.

For families, the Melia Tortuga Beach Resort and Spa offers all-inclusive packages from £885, while the Melia Dunas Beach Resort and Spa starts from £1,059, both featuring kids' pools and splash parks.

The adults-only Melia Llana provides beachfront luxury from £1,150. Guests can upgrade to VIP status through easyJet holidays, allowing access to premium areas and dining facilities across all Melia resorts.

The launch of Cape Verde holidays is part of easyJet's broader expansion, which includes 26 new flight routes, with 21 operating from eight UK airports.
