EasyJet passengers who were issued a voucher during the pandemic must use their voucher before January 31, 2024.
Around £58million worth of these vouchers have reportedly not yet been redeemed, as stated in a report from the airline published last month.
Airline easyJet passengers who had flights cancelled or delayed because of the pandemic were able to claim a voucher for compensation.
These vouchers were issued on the grounds that could be redeemed at a later date.

The airline previously set the 'redeem by' date to July 31, 2023, however it has since extended the deadline.
Customers now have until January 31, 2024, to redeem their vouchers.
This does not mean that holidaymakers must travel before the end of January, rather that they must book their flights by this deadline.
The flight needs to be taken by September 30, 2024.
While customers were given the opportunity to exchange their vouchers for cash at the time they were issued, this is no longer an option.
For more information on redeeming their voucher, customers can enter their code at https://www.easyjet.com/en/help/voucher-details.
Its website reads: “easyJet flight vouchers can be used on any new booking you make.
“Once you have requested an easyJet flight voucher online, this will then be emailed to the easyJet account holder that made the original booking.
“Flight voucher requests are normally processed within 7 days. The great news is, if your flight voucher was originally set to expire 31 July 2023, it has now been extended until 31 January 2024, offering you more time to book a flight with us.”

Customers should note that they cannot use vouchers for an easyJet Holiday, just flights.
British Airways customers who were issued a similar voucher during the Covid pandemic as part of their Book With Confidence policy have until September 30, 2024 to book and complete their flights.
British Airways’ official website reads: “Our eVouchers offer a quick and simple way of paying for flights online.
“You can use either the full value of an eVoucher or some of it to pay for a less expensive booking.
“If you don’t use all of it, we’ll simply send another eVoucher covering the difference. Vouchers are valid for travel until September 30, 2024.”
