British holidaymakers on cruises stopping in the Bahamas could soon be hit with additional charges.
Some cruise lines could pass on increases that are being made to the charge at ports.
Port charges will increase by $5 (around £4.11) per person, going from $18 (£14.80) to $23 (£18.90).
Some cruise lines have private islands. Those who stop at a private island without visiting another port in the Bahamas will be charged $25 (£25.50) per person.

The Bahamas government will also add a $5 environmental tax and $2 (£1.60) tourism enhancement tax for cruise guests.
Some cruise lines will include port fees in the cost of their package, while others will pass it on to guests as an additional charge.
The new charges will be introduced from January 1, 2024.
Many cruise providers have already been in touch with travellers who have booked a cruise after this time.
Caribbean cruises are a popular option among Britons, especially over Christmas and at the start of the year.
