The Lake District is a popular tourist destination and spot for locals to enjoy a relaxing walk.

It is easily accessible from many parts of the UK. If visiting, experts have shared the best walks for everyone.

It was also voted as the third top place to take a walk across the entire country.

It was beaten only by Ben Nevis in Scotland and Lizard Peninsula Walk in Cornwall.
