The best regions in the world to visit for 2024 have been named in a new study.
The list includes a beautiful part of the UK, meaning Britons do not need to travel far for an amazing holiday.

The north of Scotland was one of the top places to visit, according to the study by Lonely Planet.
The nearby Donegal in Ireland was also voted among the best spots.
If visiting Scotland, the study highlighted some places of particular interest.
This included Ben Hope, Dunrobin Castle, North Coast 500 and Forsinard Flows Nature Reserve.

Ben Hope is the most northern Munro in Scotland and offers spectacular views up a short ascent.
Holidaymakers who have visited it shared their experiences online.
A review posted on AllTrails said: "Ben Hope is a stunning isolated peak that offers magnificent views. The trail is breathtaking and definitely worth the effort."
This comes as a Scottish expat shared the biggest challenges living in Norway.
The best spot for a UK staycation was named as a "beautiful and picturesque" place.
