The best places to move for expats wanting a life abroad have been shared

Moving abroad can help Britons experience a new culture and way of life.

The best places to move for expats this year have been revealed, according to a study.


Mexico came up top, as shown by data from the world's largest expat network Internations.

The research considered factors such as cost of living, ease of settling in and housing.

Spain was in the number two spot and was the only European destination on the list.

Good temperatures, lots of food options and the overall quality of life have put it towards the top of the list.

It is a popular option for Britons hoping to set up camp in a new country.

Britons in Spain should be careful, however, as they have been given a warning if visiting one of six popular regions.

If moving to Spain, data from Spain's Ministry of Migrations has shown where more British people are.

Alicante has the most Britons, with around 76,000 residing in the area.

It has beautiful beaches including Playa de San Juan, which has 4.5 out of 5 stars on Tripadvisor.

A recent review said: "Great beach. Cheap short tram ride from Alicante, great spot to chill."

Another described it as a "beautiful beach" and one more said it was their "favourite beach".

Expats will often move abroad and share their experiences of life in another country.

One man who moved to the French countryside spoke about the challenges he faced.
