With longer and warmer days on the horizon, many Britons will be thinking about their next beach trip.
Speaking exclusively to GB News, experts have listed the top three beaches to visit in Scotland.
These locations were praised in a round-up by experts at GuruWalk, who explained what you should look out for if visiting the spots.
The list includes everything from "hidden coves" to one of the "most beautiful beaches in the world".
Luskentyre was recommended for its stunning coastlines

Located on the Isle of Harris, the beach is often praised for its dramatic views and peaceful ambience.
The experts said: "Often ranked among the world’s most beautiful beaches, Luskentyre features white sands and crystal-clear waters in a dramatic Highland setting. You’ll need to take a ferry from the Isle of Skye and continue by car, but its remoteness is part of the magic.
"There are no facilities, so come prepared. The water is very cold but strikingly clear. Perfect for photographers, nature lovers, and those looking to truly get away from it all."
Sandwood Bay, Sutherland, Scotland
The beach in Sutherland is another option that is off the beaten track. Expect a lot of walking as you take in the stunning views.
The experts said: "One of the UK’s most remote and breathtaking beaches, surrounded by dunes and completely untouched by development. It’s known for its wild, raw atmosphere and its striking sea stack, Am Buachaille.
"Accessible only via a 6.5km walk from Blairmore car park, it’s an experience that rewards preparation. No services or phone signal, but that’s exactly its charm. Ideal for experienced hikers, trekking enthusiasts and nature seekers."
