From today until 11.59pm on March 3, new and returning Virgin Media users who sign-up for select TV and fibre broadband bundles will be able to choose between £200 in bill credit or a Hisense 43-inch 4K TV worth £399.
If you choose the bill credit, Virgin Media will automatically apply this credit to reduce the cost of your monthly bills ― meaning you won't pay a penny in your Direct Debits for the first few months of your new contract. This is the perfect choice if you already own a decent 4K Smart TV ...or want to cut your monthly outgoings.
The free bill credit can also be used to buy on-demand content — like movie rentals or Box Office fights — from your new Virgin Media box. Of course, you could always pick the telly and sell it as it's worth more than the bill credit that Virgin Media is giving out to customers. To make its latest offer more tempting, Virgin Media has waived its usual £35 set-up fee — so switching to the fibre broadband provider will be completely free. Virgin Media says its one-off £35 payment is designed to cover the cost of any engineer visits or support for the duration of your 18-month contract.
The 43-inch Hisense Smart TV comes with a one-year warranty from the manufacturer. Your brand-new telly will arrive 28 days after your broadband connection has been installed.
Following the merger between Virgin Media and O2 back in June 2021, anyone who signs-up for Virgin Media will be eligible for O2 Priority. The loyalty scheme offers discounted cinema tickets, coffees and lunch deals from the biggest high street chains, as well as early access to gig tickets.
Earlier this year, Virgin Media announced free 24/7 monitoring for all customers on its network to preemptively fix faults before they cause headaches (or worst of all, outages) for its subscribers.
There's a 14-day cooling off period with all of the above deals, so you'll be able to downgrade your bundle, tweak the fibre broadband speeds, or walk away entirely if you're not satisfied.

As the name suggests, this bundle arrives with over 200 channels, including the complete Sky Cinema package and 11 dedicated kids’ channels. Everything can be watched on the included Virgin TV 360 set-top box or on your phone or tablet with the companion app. You’ll also get ultrafast fibre broadband with average download speeds of 132Mbps, and free weekend calls to UK numbers.
Bigger Sports+ HD Combo Bundle
If you’re looking for live sports coverage, the Bigger Sports HD Combo has you covered. It comes with all Sky Sports channels alongside over 195 other paid- and free-to-watch channels. You’ll get a slightly faster broadband connection with this bundle, boasting average download speeds of 264Mbps as well as free weekend calls to UK numbers.

Virgin Media has its own nationwide broadband network, which is available in over 16 million homes. It's completely separate from BT-owned Openreach, which is used by broadband suppliers like BT, EE, Sky, TalkTalk, and Plusnet to connect customers to the internet.
Virgin Media uses a different technology, which offers download speeds of over 1,100Mbps at every address on its network. In comparison, Openreach is halfway through planned upgrades to connect millions of properties to next-generation full-fibre broadband.
Until recently, moving between Openreach-powered brands was hassle-free ...but switching to a separate broadband network required a lot more planning. Thankfully, that's changed with the introduction of the One Touch Switch system.
Under this new system, new broadband customers will only need to contact their new supplier to initiate the change. The new broadband firm will handle all aspects of the switch, including terminating the existing contract and organising the installation date for the new broadband supplier.
The streamlined new sign-up process eliminates the need for you to give 30 days' notice to the existing provider. Not only that, but it removes the stress of trying to sync-up the cut-off date from the old provider to the installation date from the new broadband firm — minimising the time without an internet connection.
Billing and activation dates will now be coordinated between the broadband operators in the background, further reducing the administrative burden.
Best of all, if your new internet provider is unable to connect you on the date agreed, you’ll receive compensation. There's no need to take action, the money is sent automatically.
