Sky TV will bring its latest Sky Stream deals to end on July 31 — leaving you with just one week to take advantage of the generous £96 discount.

With the latest price cut, you can take delivery of a brand-new Sky Stream box with 100 live channels not available on Freeview or Freely, 500 boxsets from Sky Originals and HBO like House of the Dragon, Chernobyl, The White Lotus, Euphoria, and Succession, and a Netflix subscription for £22 per month.

That reduced monthly cost will be locked in for the 24-month contract.

The latest limited-time sale covers Sky Stream bundles with Sky Sports and Sky Cinema. The former drops from £46 to £42 per month, while Sky Cinema — which comes with a Paramount+ subscription and two cinema tickets to any VUE nationwide every month — drops from £36 to £30 per month.

All Sky Stream bundles come with High Definition (HD) as standard, something that Sky TV charges an additional £9 every month to add to a Sky Q subscription. There's no upfront cost and next-day delivery is included as standard with all orders.

But the latest Sky TV discounts face some close competition from its closest rival: Virgin Media.

The full-fibre broadband supplier has unleashed its own television deals, promising its "lowest ever price" on select bundles. Unlike the Sky Stream sale, Virgin Media doesn't offer its TV 360 box without a broadband connection — so it's only available in the 16 million homes currently covered by its full-fibre internet network. According to Virgin Media, the latest sale across its full-fibre broadband and television bundle has cut prices to a record low — with savings of £468 available to new customers

Prices for Virgin TV 360 bundles start from £33 per month. This clever set-top box offers support for 4K Ultra HD resolution, can pause and rewind live television, boasts a remote with voice controls, and can record up to six programmes simultaneously while watching another live.

This £33 entry-level bundle includes the box with access to 100+ free-to-air channels, an almost identical line-up to Freeview TVs, unlimited weekend calls to UK landlines, and 264Mbps download speeds — that's 3.8x faster than the average household broadband speed.

Of course, you can customise this package with extra channels, like Sky History, Sky Comedy, MTV, Comedy Central, Sky Cinema, Sky Sports, Eurosport, and more at an extra cost.

To compare, Virgin Media's Big Bundle with the latest offering from Sky TV. You'll need to spend at least £40 for a Sky Stream bundle with 145Mbps broadband speeds. Although, this package does offer exclusive live channels like Sky Atlantic and Sky Sports News, as well as a Netflix subscription.

That cost rises to £44 per month for 500Mbps — Sky doesn't offer anything in between, closer to the 264Mbps speeds available with this bundle from Virgin Media.

The biggest saving comes from the Biggest Combo Bundle, which includes the same TV 360 set-top box but adds faster broadband, Sky Sports, Sky Cinema in HD, over 210+ live channels, and a Netflix Standard subscription. Usually £91 per month, Virgin Media has cut the cost to £64.99 per month.

That equates to a saving of £468 — the biggest in the history of the company, it tells us.

Virgin Media is one of the only pay-TV and broadband providers with an 18-month minimum contract term for all new customers, meaning you'll be able to renegotiate a new deal with them or switch to a rival supplier to unlock a deal reserved for new customers much sooner. This is something Sky TV ditched in a recent shake-up of its television and broadband deals.
