Switching to a new broadband package might be the most affordable way to start watching Sky TV at home. That’s because TalkTalk is offering access to Sky TV channels via NOW (formerly NOW TV) for just £4.99 per month. That’s 50% off the usual subscription cost (£9.99 per month).
Not only that, but you’ll also get NOW Boost included for free, which unlocks HD picture quality and Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound. This optional upgrade usually costs an extra £6 per month.
With this package, you’ll be able to stream live broadcasts and exclusive boxsets from Sky Atlantic, Sky Comedy, Sky Documentaries, Sky History, Sky Crime, Comedy Central, alibi, Gold, Sky Arts, MTV, Sky Sci-Fi, Sky Kids, and many more, in 1080p HD picture quality.
You’ll be able to watch on your telly and an additional two devices, including your smartphone, tablet, or other rooms around the house. This blockbuster Sky TV deal isn’t around for long — you’ll need to place an order before February 14, 2024.

TALKTALK
Order before that deadline and TalkTalk will honour the £4.99 subscription for the next 12-months, saving over £59. As long as you’re still with TalkTalk broadband, you’ll benefit from NOW Boost at no extra cost, so you don’t need to worry about your picture or sound quality getting a downgrade.
You’ll be able to ditch NOW whenever as TalkTalk offers a flexible monthly rolling contract with all of its telly bundles. Equally, if you want to subscribe to Sky Sports or Sky Cinema for a few weeks to catch specific fixtures or movies, you can adjust your bundle month to month without issue.
TalkTalk charges £5 per month for its TalkTalk TV Hub, which is a diddy set-top box that unlocks access to 70+ live channels available via Freeview, catch-up services from broadcasters like BBC, ITV, and Channel 4, as well as streaming apps like Netflix, Prime Video, and Disney+ from the Google Play Store. It supports 4K Ultra HD quality streams and Dolby Atmos sound too.
With Chromecast functionality baked into the box, you’ll be able to customers can also cast movies, apps and games directly to the TV from your phone, tablet, or laptop.
Even when you factor in the cost of the TalkTalk TV Hub (£5) and a NOW Entertainment membership (£4.99), you’re still saving £6 on the usual cost of the same package when bought direct from NOW, thanks to the picture quality upgrade from NOW Boost included for free. And of course, you’ll take delivery of a brand-new Android TV-powered box to start watching your favourite Sky TV shows.
TalkTalk isn’t the only broadband company that bundles NOW memberships, with the recently relaunched EE TV also offering access to Sky TV channels via NOW.
Like TalkTalk, EE TV is a svelte box that offers access to live channels via Freeview, and on-demand apps like Netflix and Prime Video. EE offers six months of Apple TV+ free when you sign up.
If you’d rather not use the EE TV set-top box, you can get access to the same TV service on an Apple TV 4K too. EE has designed a custom remote control with shortcuts to prominent streamers.
