Yes, really.
Sky Glass + the Essential TV bundle costs just £27 per month — a price cut of £96.
For a limited time, take delivery of a brand-new Sky Glass TV — with its 4K QLED screen, Dolby Atmos-certified soundbar, hands-free voice controls — in your choice of five colours, with the Essential TV package from Sky TV with access to Sky Atlantic, Netflix, Discovery+, and 90 live channels. Everything is beamed via Wi-Fi, so there's no need to affix a satellite dish to the side fo your house
For those who don't know, Sky Glass is an all-in-one Smart TV with a built-in Dolby Atmos soundbar, QLED panel with a 4K resolution, support for hands-free voice controls, and the ability to stream, pause, and rewind live television using only a Wi-Fi connection.
Since there's no satellite dish, Glass TVs can be placed anywhere in your home with a decent wireless signal. You won't need to organise an engineer appointment to get up and running, with the step-by-step instructions on-screen walking you through how to connect to Wi-Fi and start streaming live telly.
Sky Glass is designed to a one-stop-shop for everything you need to enjoy Sky TV, including the smarts to stream 90+ live channels and exclusive boxsets, a Dolby Atmos soundbar, and QLED screen with support for HDR and 4K Ultra HD resolution
SKY TV PRESS OFFICEWith everything combined into a single device, Sky says its Glass TV will use 50% less energy than standalone Smart TV, soundbar, and set-top box all powered independently and connected together with HDMIs.
The custom-designed Smart TV is available in five different colours — Anthracite Black, Ocean Blue, Racing Green, Dusky Pink, and Ceramic White — designed to blend with your home décor. The fascia that covers the Dolby Atmos soundbar is colour-matched by default, or you can pay extra for a contrasting colourway.
Unlike the satellite dish-powered Sky Q, the latest Sky Glass deals offer High Definition (HD) picture quality at no extra cost.
Sky Glass is available as a one-off purchase, or the cost can be included as part of your monthly subscription. The 43" model costs £599, increasing to £849 for the larger 55", while the biggest 65" variant costs £1,099.
If you want to bundle these Smart TV models with the £15 per month Essential TV package of live channels, Netflix subscriptions, and on-demand boxsets, it will cost £12 for the 43", £17 for the 55", and £22 for the 65".
At checkout, you can customise the package of TV channels — adding optional extras like Sky Cinema, Sky Sports, Sky Kids, and streaming services like Disney+. Of course, if you opt for a bigger screen size and add Sky Cinema, you should expect to spend more than 90p a day.
With next-day delivery included at no cost, this time tomorrow, you could be watching everything included in the Sky Entertainment & Netflix bundle, from HBO shows like Game of Thrones, The White Lotus and Succession, to original Sky TV series Brassic, Rob and Romesh vs... and Never Mind The Buzzcocks, to exclusive channels like Sky Atlantic, Netflix shows and films, and 90 live channels on your brand-new telly.
Unlike the best Sky Stream deals, all of the Sky Glass TV deals come with a £20 upfront cost. There's a 31-day cooling off period where you can return the Glass TV and cancel your contract with Sky TV with no early termination penalty. However, Sky will charge a £25 courier charge to collect the 4K television.
Sounds like one of the best Sky Glass deals ever, right? So, you'll probably looking for the catch...
Playlist brings together TV shows, documentaries, and films from the TV Guide, on-demand catalogue included with the Sky Entertainment bundle, and titles from Netflix, Prime Video, Apple TV+, and others into a single list — that's automatically sorted into categories
SKY TV PRESS OFFICE
Well, there is something you should know before you add a Sky Glass TV to your shopping basket. Sky has sent out invitations to a major launch event next month, promising something "smarter, brighter and better than ever."
The use of "brighter" in the invitation has led to suggestions that a new Sky Glass television could be unveiled, following comments from Sky Global Chief Product Officer about new versions coming "down the line" last summer. The Sky TV event comes three years after the launch of the original Sky Glass television.
If there is a new version of the Glass TV announced, then you'll be stuck with an older variant for the duration of your contract.
Of course, anything "smarter, brighter and better than ever" is unlikely to cost under £1 a day at launch... so it depends on your priorities. Nevertheless, it's something to consider before going to checkout.
