Samsung has slashed £300 off its latest Galaxy S24, S24+ latest Galaxy S24, S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra phones in a blockbuster new sale.

With this discount, the Galaxy S24 now starts from £499 — easily the best Galaxy S24 deals we've ever seen. Likewise, the all-singing, all-dancing S24 Ultra has plummeted below £950 for the first time since its February 2024 release date. That's comfortably the best Galaxy S24 Ultra deal from any retailer since launch.

The £300 price crash isn't around for very long, with Galaxy S phones set to return to their prices on June 4, 2024. That's less than a fortnight. And that's if stock lasts until then, with Samsung warning that it'll pull the £400 off sale early if it burns through existing warehouse stock.

Best of all, the £300 price cut isn't the only incredible deal available from the Samsung Store. The South Korean firm is still offering an additional £100 discount on the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra when you trade-in any phone in any condition.

Yes, that means you can mail a broken Nokia 3310 from the early 00s with a cracked screen and a missing battery and still enjoy an extra £100 off. With both offers applied, you can secure the Galaxy S24 for 50% off its usual price.

If you've got an old phone gathering dust at the back of a drawer, or can find a busted smartphone from the last two decades on eBay for a few quid, then it's well worth taking advantage of this trade-in at the same time as the £300 price cut.

With both Samsung deals applied, the Galaxy S24 series drops to these frankly ludicrous prices:

If you need a new pair of wireless earbuds, Samsung will discount its Galaxy Buds by 30% if you add them to your shopping basket at the same time. Likewise, you can secure 30% off any Galaxy Watchwhen you buy with your new Galaxy S24, S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra phone.

Samsung offers free delivery across the UK, as well as a range of 0% APR repayment plans too.

But the £300 discount isn't exclusive to the Samsung Store, with retailers like Currys, Amazon, and AO.com also taking part in the sale and dropping prices across the Galaxy S24, S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra phones. The extra £100 off from trade-in doesn't apply to these other stores, but if you've haven't got a phone that you're willing to part with, there's no reason to specifically shop from Samsung.

Prime members will benefit from next-day delivery nationwide at no extra cost on Amazon and Currys and Argos offer same-day collection in some areas — both good reasons to shop at these particular stores over Samsung.

Samsung announced its all-new Galaxy S24 range in mid-January, with a focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI), clever new camera features, and a titanium frame. All three handsets arrive with a faster processor, bigger batteries, and a guaranteed seven years of Android upgrades.

Unveiled at Galaxy Unpacked event in San Jose, California, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is undoubtedly the headline feature of all three new Galaxy S phones from Samsung. Dubbed Galaxy AI, the clever new software can translate incoming phone calls in real-time, write text messages for you, summarise lengthy notes into bullet points, move the subject of a photo and erase unwanted people from the background.

Samsung has partnered with Google to launch a new way to gesture-driven way to search online — Circle To Search.

As the name suggests, this allows Galaxy S24 owners to long-press on the home button and circle anything on-screen to kickstart a Google search. For example, you can circle the city skyline in the background of an Instagram post to find the location, circle a book cover to get shopping results or circle an unknown actor in a Netflix show to find their IMDb page.

Some of these AI tricks are reminiscent of Microsoft's CoPilot Pro subscription, which costs £19 a month to use across Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel on Windows, Mac, and iPad.

All three models of the Galaxy S24 arrive with Android 14 out of the box and guaranteed updates until the early 2030s. Until now, Samsung only guaranteed four years of updates with its flagship Galaxy S series.

Galaxy S24 Ultra is the only model with a stylus housed in the frame, enabling you to make handwritten notes, sign PDFs, annotate screenshots, and doodle on-screen. It follows in the footsteps of the iPhone 15 Pro and uses a titanium frame, which Samsung says will enhance durability. It’s also the brightest screen we’ve seen on a Galaxy smartphone, topping out at 2,600-nits, which should make everything easily visible on-screen even when outside on the brightest summer day.

This flagship S24 Ultra model packs a quadruple camera with a massive 200-megapixel main camera, 50-megapixel and 10-megapixel telephoto sensors capable of 100x digital zoom, and a 12-megapixel camera for ultra-wide shots.

Galaxy S24 and S24+ also benefit from improved cameras, but miss out on the 100x zoom. Using AI, Galaxy S24 owners can resize or move the subject of a photo in their camera app. Unwanted people or objects can also be removed from the background, with Galaxy AI filling in any blank spaces.

Samsung can also transform any video footage into slow-motion, thanks to Galaxy AI.

Samsung’s Knox security system has received an upgrade with the latest entries in the Galaxy S series too, offering phone owners the option to ditch their password in favour of a fingerprint or face scan on the Galaxy S24 Ultra to login to their favourite website. Passkeys are slowly becoming the new norm, with Elon Musk adopting the technology for X, formerly Twitter, and a recent WhatsApp update ditching passwords.
