Meanwhile, the Galaxy S24 FE was introduced at the end of September, combining the latest Galaxy AI introduced with the standard Galaxy S24, S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra back in January, with a mammoth 6.7-inch AMOLED screen, new cooling system, and fresh colours.

Under the bonnet, it's powered by Samsung's Exynos 2400e processor, which supports Ray Tracing — a lighting technique found on consoles like the Sony PS5 and Xbox Series X to generate realistic shadows and reflections in real-time during gaming performance.

While this new chipset isn't as powerful as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy found inside the rest of the flagship Galaxy S24 lineup, it is speedy enough to support Galaxy AI. These AI capabilities can translate phone calls in real time, generate summaries of lengthy notes and documents, and offer writing tips for emails and text messages, to name just a few.

Despite costing less than the standard Galaxy S24, the newly-launched Galaxy S24 FE sports an expansive 6.7-inch screen that puts it on-par with the pricier Galaxy S24+

Despite these top-tier experiences, the Galaxy S24 FE — which stands for "Fan Edition" — is more affordable than the rest of the Galaxy S24 lineup, starting from £649. That's £150 less than the standard Galaxy S24 and £350 cheaper than the S24+, which has the same expansive screen size.

For a limited time, buying the Galaxy S24 FE from the Samsung Store will entitle you to 20% off all Galaxy Buds wireless earbuds, Galaxy Watches, and the Galaxy Ring.

Not only that, but you can discount the cost of the Galaxy S24 FE by £50 to £350 when you trade-in your existing handset. The final amount will depend on the make and model of the smartphone that you're willing to part with.

To claim the free Galaxy Watch FE worth £199, you'll need to submit a claim within 30-days of your purchase. Since this is a freebie, you won't be able to choose the colour of the smartwatch — you'll be sent a model in Silver with the blue wrist strap.

Crucially, this offer is not restricted to those who purchase a Galaxy S24 FE from the Samsung Store.

You'll still be able to claim the free smartwatch from the South Korean technology company when bought from number of popular online and high street stores, including the likes of John Lewis, Argos, Mobiles.co.uk, Mobile Phones Direct, Amazon, Currys, EE, O2, Three Mobile, the list goes on.
