Save up to £750 on autonomous vacuum cleaners

Want to avoid clean-up duties this Christmas? If you're hosting family and friends over the festive period and don't fancy vacuuming and mopping, the latest robot vacuum cleaner deals could be exactly what you're looking for.

Yes, two of the biggest brands — Eufy and iRobot, the manufacturer behind the Roomba lineup — have slashed prices across their best-selling ranges of self-steering vacuums. For a limited time, you could secure discounts of £600 across these clever smart home gadgets.

As the name suggests, robot vacuum cleaners are small autonomous droids that navigate around the rooms in your home, cleaning dust and debris. The best models can also wash the floors with a built-in mop for a complete clean. These 'bots can be controlled from anywhere with a smartphone app, or you can set-up a regular cleaning schedule. Or start a one-off clean with a command to an AI assistant, like Amazon's Alexa or Google Assistant.

Eufy and iRobot both offer models with a charging station that includes a dust bag. That means you won't need to intervene and manually empty the gadget for weeks at a time. When the 'bot needs to be recharged, it will return to the charging station to top up its battery life before continuing with the task you've assigned it.

Because of their squat profile, these clever household gadgets will navigate and clean anywhere in your home, removing dirt and dust from hard-to-reach places, like deep beneath the sofa.

Both Eufy and Roomba can be controlled with apps on iPhone and Android, allowing you to kickstart a clean from anywhere in the world or schedule a regular tidy-up when it suits.

iRobot and Eufy have both dropped price tags in the days before Christmas. If you missed the Black Friday sale on these popular robot vacuum cleaners last month, this is a superb opportunity to secure a saving.

Eufy has cut prices by as much as £500 in the Christmas Magic sale across its online store, which sees discounts on robot vacuum cleaners, smart scales, security cameras, and video doorbells.

Meanwhile, US manufacturer iRobot has launched its own Christmas Deals, with savings of £600 available across its bestselling robots. The latest discounts are only available while stocks last, and the price cuts to all Roomba robot vacuums must end at 11am on December 30, 2024.

Best Eufy robot vacuum deals

Even if you've never heard of Eufy, chances are, you've heard of its parent company Anker. This brand is renown for its fast-charging plugs, USB-C and HDMI cables, and much more. The award-winning brand is stocked in the Apple Store for some of its clever accessories for the iPhone, iPad, and other gadgets.

Eufy is dedicated to smart home technology, with a wide selection of scales, video doorbells, and security cameras. It also boasts a swathe of robot vacuum cleaners and mops capable of steering themselves around your home, prioritising the dirtiest rooms first, and emptying their contents into a sealed dust bag.

If you're looking for the most affordable vacuum, Eufy has cut its entry-level vacuum cleaner to just £139.99. Unfortunately the discounted G50 model has proven so popular, Eufy has sold-out.

Eufy is offering shoppers the chance to sign-up for stock alerts, but if you're on a tight deadline and need a new autonomous vacuum cleanert now then you're going to need to look elsewhere. Fortunately, the Chinese brand has plenty of other options on-hand for those looking for an affordable 'bot.

Eufy L60 usually costs £249.99, but has been discounted by a whopping £90 in the pre-Christmas sale — dropping the price tag to just £159.99, that's still slightly less than you'd pay for the G50 outside of a sale.

Despite its diminutive size, the Eufy L60 packs 5,000Pa of suction, which should be more than enough to drag crumbs, hair, and dust from the deepest carpets. Of course, different surfaces require different amounts of suction power for maximum cleaning efficiency, so L60 automatically increases adjusts suction as needed.

With its AI. Map 2.0 feature, Eufy lets you send the L60 vacuum to specific rooms to clean a spillage, designate parts of your home as No-Go Zones, and use Multi-Floor Mapping for homes over more than one floor too (you'll need to carry the vacuum upstairs yourself though... despite some promising signs, we're still a long way off these household gadgets being able to clean multi-story homes independently).

At this price point, the 'bot won't be able to dispose of anything that it's cleaned from the carpet into a dust-bag for you. Instead, the charging station is a pretty simple dock that refills the battery. Instead, you'll need to empty the contents from the smaller reservoir inside the vacuum cleaner itself on a regular basis.

Save £90 on Eufy L60

With the entry-level G50 now completely sold-out, Eufy has unleashed a blockbuster discount on its pricier L60 robot vacuum cleaner — bringing it down to the same price as its unavailable 'bot. Eufy L60 arrives with powerful 5,000Pa of suction and the ability to intelligently moderate power based on the surface it's cleaning. You can specify certain rooms to clean or rule-out areas as No-Go Zones within the companion app

If you're looking for a robot vacuum that isn't quite as hands-on, then look no further than the Clean X8 Pro, which has a freestanding charging station equipped with a 2.5-litre dust bag that securely seals pet hair and debris for a hands-free cleaning experience.

Eufy says it has enough capacity to store dust from the last 45-days, so you'll only need to empty your vacuum a dozen times each year. Of course, the Eufy X8 Pro is also smart enough to return to this charging station to dispose of dust and top-up its battery mid-cycle during a scheduled clean.

Eufy has also dropped £170 off its more affordable Clean X8 Pro with Self-Empty Station. This smaller 'bot can steer itself around your home, carefully avoiding furniture and obstacles. Eufy has also equipped this model with the same patented Active Detangling roller-brush that automatically detangles hair as it spins.

Those who truly don't want to lift a finger should look at a model like the Eufy Clean X8 Pro, which will empty its onboard dust-bin into a larger, sealed bag inside the charging station, so you'll only need to take out the bins a dozen times every year

This pricier model boasts a pair of powerful turbines — each capable of producing 4,000 Pa in suction. This Twin-Turbine design with its 2x 4,000 Pa rating should ensure pet hair embedded deep within carpets are no match for the Eufy Clean X8 Pro, the brand says.

Usually £499, the flash sale has dropped this Eufy model £320.

If you want to use a smart speaker to command your Eufy X8 Pro, this model supports Alexa and Google Assistant. Helpfully, Eufy — which also has a range of security cameras to rival Ring video doorbells, smart scales that analyse your body composition, and breast pumps — has a trade-in offer.

If you already own one of its vacuums and want to upgrade to the newer models, then it's possible to unlock a bigger discount on the new Eufy Clean lineup.

Save £170 on Eufy X8 Pro Robot Vacuum

As the "Pro" moniker suggests, this model from Eufy comes equipped with plenty of top-of-the-line features to bolster the cleaning experience. The twin-turbine design offers 2x 4,000 Pa of suction from the dual motors — more than enough to remove pet hair and other dirt that's deeply embedded in carpets. The freestanding charging station can also hold dust from the last 45-days, so you won't need to empty it too often

For maximum savings, look no further than the Eufy Omni S1 Pro. This flagship robot vacuum cleaner is the only one to receive the full £500 discount advertised in the pre-Christmas sale.

The Omni S1 Pro features a dual-function design, capable of both vacuuming and mopping your floors autonomously. It's also equipped with a much more advanced navigation system, employing LiDAR — the same technology used for Tesla's self-driving cars — and AI-driven obstacle avoidance to efficiently map spaces and manoeuvre around household items.

And if you're looking for a no-hassle solution to keeping your home clean, one standout feature of this pricier 'bot is the self-cleaning docking station. Yes, Eufy has engineered the S1 Pro to autonomously empty its own dustbin, wash and dry the mop heads, and refill the water tank.

The station cleverly uses hot air drying to prevent bacterial growth and odour development on the mop pads.

The vacuum itself offers robust suction power, designed to tackle a range of surfaces, from carpets to hard flooring. The mop function benefits from adaptive pressure and rotational pads, simulating the scrubbing motion of a traditional mop.

Like the other (more affordable) vacuums in the lineup, the Omni S1 Pro ties into the Eufy smart app, enabling you to set custom cleaning schedules and remotely operate the droid from anywhere in the world. The Omni S1 Pro supports real-time mapping and room-specific cleaning, offering precision and control.
