Ahead of the hour-long presentation revealing everything about the Switch 2, the Japanese gaming firm shared a packed list of titles scheduled to launch on its original Switch and Switch OLED Model. That includes a brand-new Pokémon game, dubbed Pokémon Legends: Z-A, scheduled to release sometime later this year, alongside Metroid Prime 4: Beyond and Professor Layton and the New World of Steam.
Nintendo Switch was launched back in 2017. Since then, it's become one of the bestselling consoles of all-time and boasts a packed library of exclusive titles with fan-favourites series like Mario Kart, The Legend of Zelda, Animal Crossing, and many more
ALVARO REYES | UNSPLASHElsewhere, third-party developers have confirmed a slew of new titles coming to the platform, including Monument Valley 1 & 2, High on Life, Tamagotchi Plaza, Patapon 1 + 2 Replay, The Wandering Village, Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound, and Sonic Racing: Cross Worlds, to name just a few.
In other words... there's no shortage of new and upcoming games to play on the original Switch.

With a vast library of games, millions of Switch owners to compete against in online multiplayer, and price cuts to its bestselling games and the console itself — it could be a good time to make the switch.
