Upgrading to a new SIM-only bundle could cut your monthly bills and bolster your 5G data
iD Mobile has doubled the 5G data allowance across its SIM-only plans this Black Friday. If you're not looking to upgrade to a new Android or iPhone, then a SIM-only plan is a great way to lower your monthly bills since it only includes the calls, text messages, and 5G mobile data you need to use all of the features built into your smartphone.
For just £8 per month, iD Mobile will send you a SIM card equipped with unlimited calls to UK landline and mobile numbers, unlimited text messages, and 30GB of 5G mobile data. Best of all, this is a one-month rolling contract, so you walk away at any moment penalty-free. Rival SMARTY offers 60GB of 5G data for the same £8 monthly charge.
If you need more mobile data, iD Mobile will treble that monthly allowance to 90GB for just £10 per month. And increasingly your monthly payments to £15 will unlock unlimited 5G mobile data each month.
Mobile data is used whenever you're not connected to a Wi-Fi network. It's required to send messages and make calls in apps like WhatsApp or Messenger, stream or download songs and podcasts on Spotify, watch videos on YouTube, or binge-watch a boxset on Netflix, to name just a few. Mobile data can also be used to upload photos to the cloud, so your memories are backed up in case something happens to your phone.
Instead of cutting its prices for Black Friday, iD Mobile has decided to double its 5G mobile data allowance. Without spending an extra penny, you'll benefit from twice as much 5G internet each month — so you can stream songs, videos, podcasts and more away from Wi-Fi without any concern
With iD Mobile, you’ll enjoy data rollover so that no data goes to waste.
If you're not consistently using all of the mobile data that you've been allocated within a month, it won't reset when the next billing period rolls around. That means if you have a few weeks connected to Wi-Fi, you can quickly stockpile a generous allocation of 5G data to use when you're away — on a holiday or work trip away from a strong Wi-Fi signal, for example.
iD Mobile will allow you to take your mobile data with you, with inclusive roaming in over 50 destinations available with its most popular SIM-only plans. While many mobile providers reintroduced EU roaming charges following the UK's departure from the European Union, iD Mobile continues to let its users travel without paying extra.
The Black Friday sales comes just a few days after iD Mobile celebrated reaching 2 million customers in the UK.
iD Mobile lets you impose a cap on your monthly bills, so you're guaranteed to never be hit with an out-of-control bill when travelling, adding extras, or making calls to premium phonelines
