Save over £200 on the flagship Beats headphones for one-day only

  • EE will launch its first Tech Drop tomorrow (April 17)
  • This first-come-first-served sale will see record price cuts to gadgets
  • The first product to be featured is Beats Studio Pro headphones
  • Price cut tops the best-ever Black Friday discount seen on Amazon
  • EE has teased Smart TVs and laptops will be featured soon
  • Tech Drop is open to existing EE subscribers and non-customers
  • But those with a mobile phone or broadband contract will get a heads up

EE has unleashed a never-before-seen perk for millions of its mobile and broadband customers in the UK.

For the first time, the mobile network will discount popular gadgets from its online store. These Black Friday-esque price cuts will only be available for a limited amount of time on a limited amount of stock. Dubbed an EE Tech Drop, the BT-owned mobile carrier will fire the starting pistol by sending a notification to its customers via the MyEE app.

Beats Studio Pro headphones, which have an RRP of £349.99, will be the first product featured in the EE Tech Drop

EE PRESS OFFICE

If you're speedy — you could unlock unbelievable price cuts on laptops, headphones, and Smart TVs.

The first Tech Drop from EE is scheduled to take place on April 17 and will see Beats Studio Pro headphones slashed to £149.

That's over 50% off the RRP of £349.99.

For comparison, Amazon cut these noise-cancelling headphones to £179 during the Black Friday sale last year. Since then, £239 is the best price cut we've seen from Amazon — highlighting what an incredible deal this is.

If you want to secure the £200 discount on Beats Studio Pro from EE, you'll need to be quick.

The new Tech Drop perk is always sold on a first-come-first-served basis. Interestingly, Tech Drop will not be limited to EE customers, so those who rely on rival mobile networks for their 5G data and calls can still attempt to snag these products at their lowest-ever prices.

However, existing EE mobile and broadband customers will receive an alert up to 24 hours before each Tech Drop — giving them a heads-up. If you want the best shot at securing the latest Tech Drop, it pays to switch your mobile phone, SIM-only, or full-fibre broadband deal over to EE.

Speaking about the new initiative, Director of Gaming and Consumer Electronics at EE, Sam Kemp said: "As part of our mission to offer customers access to the best tech, we’re excited to unveil our new monthly Tech Drops initiative.

"Launching this week, our first EE Tech Drop will give thousands of people the chance to make huge savings on one of the hottest pieces of tech on the market – but they must be quick as the deals only runs for a limited time period. All customers need to do is download the EE App and look out for the next Tech Drop."

The one-of-its-kind perk builds on the overhaul to the EE brand announced in late 2023.

The shake-up saw BT TV boxes nationwide rebranded to EE TV overnight, the introduction of EE ID, and faster full-fibre broadband speeds than parent company BT. It also saw EE expand beyond SIM-only deals and broadband, with brand-new games consoles, home security cameras, and smart fridges stocked in its online store.

Future Tech Drops from EE are expected to include record deals on laptops, flatscreen TVs, and other gadgets found in the EE Store — all sold at significantly reduced prices. Remember to download the EE App now to ensure you don't miss out on tomorrow's Beats headphones offer.
