Amazon is bringing its site-wide Prime Day sale to a close in a few hours — so if you're looking for an incredible deal on a brand-new television, you'll need to act immediately.
First up, Amazon has slashed the price of its custom-designed Fire TV Smart TVs to an all-time low. Starting from just £139.99, you'll be able to take delivery of a 32-inch HD television powered by the same popular FireOS platform found on the likes of the Fire TV Stick 4K.
If you want to upgrade to a 4K Ultra HD resolution, which offers 4x as many pixels as standard 1080p HD, prices now start from £249.99 for the Fire TV 4-Series. That's a dramatic price cut compared to the usual £429.99 price tag.
Incredibly, there's also an opportunity to bag a 40-inch QLED TV for free. Yes, you read that right.
The most affordable model that qualifies for the free QLED TV is the brand-new 50-inch 4K Mini-LED with Dolby Atmos support and Freely — the new streaming platform created by the team behind Freeview and Freesat

To qualify for this free gift, you'll just need to purchase one of a handful of new 2024 models from the brand.
There's a whole series of TV models included in the promotion, which start from just £774.
Given that you'll take delivery of two flatscreen TVs for that amount, it's unsurprising that stock is running extremely low on some of these TVs, with Amazon warning there's "only 2 left in stock" on some models in the deal.
But hold on, it gets better – you can secure £300 cashback on the cheapest qualifying TV model from Hisense, effectively bringing your cost down to an astonishingly low £474. You'll still qualify for the free gift TV too.
That means you're paying just £237 for both TVs. For that, you'll take delivery of a 40-inch QLED TV with 1080p HD resolution and a 50-inch Mini-LED TV with a 4K Ultra HD resolution.
That latter launched this year as part of the 2024 line-up from Hisense, the second-biggest TV manufacturer globally. It also ditches Freeview in favour of its recently-announced successor, Freely, which boasts many of the same features we've come to expect from Sky TV.
Click here to find the complete list of qualifying TVs on Amazon. Make sure to check the small-print in the T&Cs section to make sure your new telly will earn you a second free flatscreen from Hisense — and then make sure to act fast.
Whether you decide on the Hisense 2-for-1 giveaway or the dramatically discounted Fire TV Smart TVs from Amazon, both of these sets arrive with access to the most popular streaming services, like Netflix, YouTube, Apple TV, Disney+, Paramount+, Prime Video, BBC iPlayer, ITVX, Channel 4, My5, and UKTV. There's also access to popular social media apps and productivity software.
These stunning television deals are just a fraction of the thousands of blockbuster deals included in the Prime Day sale. As always with this annual site-wide sale, you'll need to be a Prime member to be able to access any of these deals. Without Prime membership, you'll be stuck paying the full RRP for items that've been discounted in the sale. You'll also lose out on next-day delivery at no extra cost on thousands of items.
But becoming an Amazon Prime member doesn't have to cost you anything.
That's because the US shopping giant offers a 30-day free trial of its membership scheme. Sign up, then cancel immediately and you'll still be able to enjoy all of the perks of Prime membership for a month.
If you don't cancel, you'll be charged the usual £8.99 per month fee at the end of the free trial period. We've written an in-depth guide on this loyalty scheme to work out "is Amazon Prime worth it in 2024".
