Amazon reveals date of next blockbuster Prime Day sale, and offers £15 in credit to spend on deals

The next Prime Day sale arrives in less than a month.
The blockbuster sale will take place July 16-17, 2024 with Amazon promising discounts across thousands of items on its online store. "Save big on popular brands like Elemis, ghd, Ninja, Samsung, and more," it promised.
Unlike the best Black Friday deals, Prime Day is only available to those with a Prime membership.
Prime Day 2024 will take place over 48-hours, starting from 00.01am on July 16

It costs £8.99 per month, or £95 per year, and includes a truckload of perks, including next-day delivery at no extra cost across thousands of items on Amazon, access to exclusive shows and films on Prime Video, unlimited cloud back-up for your photos via Amazon Photos, free PC games, and much more.

There are over 200 million paid Prime members worldwide who will be able to unlock access to the exclusive savings next month. All discounted items will be eligible for Prime delivery too.

To help some shoppers take advantage of the Prime Day sales, Amazon is giving away £15 in credit to spend on anything in the sales. Coupled with the Black Friday-like discounts we usually see during Prime Day, this could be an opportunity to enjoy huge savings.
Not everyone is eligible for the free £15 to spend on Amazon. First up, you'll need to be a Prime member who has never backed-up photos in the cloud via Amazon Photos. If you haven't taken advantage of this membership perk, you'll be able to claim £15 when you store some of your photographs in the cloud.
