Amazon has slashed its flagship Omni Mini-LED Smart TVs to the lowest ever price. Launched in the final weeks of last year, the Omni Mini-LED lineup is designed to compete toe-to-toe with top-of-the-line flatscreens from the likes of Samsung, Hisense, TCL, and others.
As the name suggests, these all-in-one Smart TVs ship with a Mini-LED screen with a 4K Ultra HD resolution, displays capable of producing over one billion life-like colours, and up to 1,400 nits of peak brightness. As such, these new Smart TVs support flagship industry standards like Dolby Vision IQ and HDR10+ Adaptive.

And it's not just the screen of the flagship Fire TV Omni Mini-LED lineup that's a substantial improvement.
For the first time, Amazon has fitted its new Smart TVs with two speakers and two subwoofers that Dolby Atmos sound without the need for an external soundbar or speaker system. Amazon has teamed up with the team behind Freeview to bake its latest innovation — Freely — into the Fire TV operating system.
Top-of-the-line Fire TV Omni Mini-LED drops to lowest-ever price
This flagship new Fire TV model only launched a few months ago, but has dropped to a record-low price in Amazon's Spring Deal Days sale. Save £250 on the 65" model, and a whopping £500 on the 75" model. Both of these TVs land on shelves with everything you need to stream from the likes of Prime Video, Netflix, Apple TV+, and all free-to-air channels via Freely. It's also compatible with a slew of games and apps

Launched last year, Freely lets you stream free-to-air channels like BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, Dave, and of course, GB News via a Wi-Fi connection with no aerial needed. It also offers much higher integration with on-demand and catchup services, like BBC iPlayer, ITVX, and U, to name just a few.
The custom-designed Fire TV Omni Mini-LED lineup is the most expensive Smart TV ever launched by Amazon.
Outside of a sale, these top-of-the-line flatscreens starts from £849.99 for the 55-inch model, rising to £1,149.99 for the 65-inches, and maxing out at £1,599.99 for the 75-inch model.
But with its Spring Deal Days sale in full-swing until March 31, Amazon has slashed these prices to record lows.
The 65" and 75" models have plummeted to their lowest-ever price tags of £899 and £1,099, respectively. That's a cut of £250 for the 65" model and £500 for the 75" telly — the biggest size that Amazon offers.
There's also a 55" Fire TV Omni Mini-LED, which has dropped from £849.99 to £699.99. That's a decent discount, but it's not the lowest ever price — that record is still held by Amazon's Black Friday sale last year. The smallest Fire TV Omni Mini-LED dropped to £649.99 during that event.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) plays a pivotal role in the new Fire TV models with a new feature called Intelligent Picture Technology that identifies and analyses what's on-screen in real-time, immediately tweaking picture details for landscapes, buildings, and sports content.
Amazon has also equipped its latest telly with sensors to detect ambient light — enabling it to automatically adjust brightness and colour temperature for optimal viewing.
Fire TV Omni Mini-LED includes a far-field microphone array to enable hands-free Alexa voice controls, so you can bark commands to change channels, load-up your favourite streaming services or apps, or check a live feed from a Ring video doorbell without reaching for the remote control.
Rounding out the new features, the new lineup supports the Fire TV Ambient Experience, which replaces blank television screens with helpful information and beautiful artwork.
New for the Fire TV Omni Mini-LED lineup, a high-fidelity radar sensor brings this artwork to life. When active, Fire TV owners will see colourful scenes — like fluttering butterflies, swimming koi fish, and colourful tiles — that dynamically shift in response to movement in front of the TV.
This interactive artwork joins a growing collection of more than 2,000 free gallery-quality images available within the Ambient Experience. And, later this month, Amazon will add 100 new pieces of artwork, including new motion art as well as landscape, underwater, and NASA space photography.
The Omni Mini-LED series is the first model in the Fire TV lineup from Amazon that supports premium gaming features, like a 144Hz high-refresh rate and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro certification.
Coupled with a dedicated Gaming Mode that unlocks Variable Refresh Rate and Auto Low Latency Mode, this flagship new flatscreen should eradicate visual artefacts and input lag for an improved gaming experience.
Amazon has confirmed that it's now sold over 250 million Fire TV devices globally.
This top-of-the-line television joins the expansive Fire TV range, which includes HDMI dongles, like the Fire TV Stick 4K, custom-designed Smart TVs from the team at Amazon, and partnerships with manufacturers such as Panasonic, Hisense, Toshiba, and TCL.
Send your old Fire TV Stick to Amazon, and upgrade for less
Amazon has slashed the price of the Fire TV Stick 4K from £59.99 to £34.99 as part of its Spring Deal Days sale. The discount is only available until March 31, but if you send an existing Fire TV Stick back to Amazon before the end of the sale, you'll unlock an extra 20% off. That cuts the price to just £23 — that's less than the entry-level Fire TV Stick HD in the sale!
