The two men will fight in Saudi Arabia next month
Tyson Fury has confirmed he's received an offer to fight in UFC.
The Brit is currently focused on his upcoming showdown with Francis Ngannou, with the two men poised to fight in Saudi Arabia next month.
Fury will go into that battle as the overwhelming favourite to win, especially given his opponent's lack of boxing experience.
Yet there's a chance he could end up emulating Ngannou by switching sports, with the 'Gyspy King' revealing he's received an offer to fight in UFC.
UFC star Jon Jones would relish the chance to fight Tyson Fury
"That's 100 per cent true [that I received an offer to fight Jon Jones]," said the 35-year-old.
"I've had an offer from the UFC, from [WME] IMG, to fight Jon Jones.
"Frank Warren knows about it, my team knows about it.
"It's still ongoing and we're looking to move forward on that for sure."
Fury also made his feelings clear that he was considering the offer, even though his battle with Ngannou is his main priority at present.
"Me and Jon have even spoke about it," Fury said. "It's definitely a real thing."
Fury has previously taken to Instagram to rant about fighting Jones after Joe Rogan downplayed his chances of winning that potential fight.
“Here’s a thought," he said on the social media channel.
"How about this? How about I fight Jon Jones and Francis Ngannou on the same night?
"How about that? That’s how much I value them two bums. Get up! Let’s go, boys.”
Ngannou won't be an easy boxing opponent for Fury, despite never stepping into the boxing ring before.
And the Brit believes there's plenty on the line as their fight creeps closer, while also inviting people to 'laugh' at him if he ends up losing.
"I need to be on my A-game," Fury said. "There's more on the line now than in a boxing fight.
"If I lose to an MMA guy I'll never be able to show my face in public again.
"It's going to ridicule me - people will chuck it at me forever.
"There's more riding on this than ever before.
"Whether the media want to take it as a joke, make no mistake Tyson Fury will leave zero stones unturned and I will come in as my fittest and strongest I've ever been to defeat this man.
"If I'm not and I get knocked out, then I want you all to laugh at me. That's what I want, because I deserve it."
Fury's father, John, said earlier this week that he had huge respect for Ngannou and thinks his son is in for a tough test of his mettle.
"I hold him in the highest esteem and the highest regard," the 59-year-old said earlier in the week.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
"He's world champion at his game, he's taking on the best in the world, taking it seriously and I do believe he's going to bring the smoke.
"I'm expecting Tyson to come out with a broken leg or a broken arm.
"He's not going to come out unscathed and I'm glad they're paying him well because if they weren't paying him well I wouldn't put him in against Francis Ngannou.
"He's going to get knocked about, Tyson, and he knows that.
"Exhibition my backside, they're going to kill each other them pair."
