The England international is open to leaving north London behind this summer
Tottenham are seemingly facing civil war when it comes to the future of talisman Harry Kane.
The England international was outstanding for the north London giants last season, scoring 32 goals across all competitions.
Kane's contract is due to expire next summer, with the Tottenham star currently refusing to sign a renewal.
And The Guardian have revealed Spurs owner Joe Lewis has now intervened in the matter.
Tottenham chief Daniel Levy has been told he must sell Harry Kane if striker doesn't sign new deal

It's claimed Lewis has informed Tottenham supremo Daniel Levy that Kane can't be allowed to run down his contract and leave on a free next year.
Levy has, to this point, been adamant the England star won't be allowed to leave the capital behind.
But it appears Lewis has now overruled the 61-year-old, effectively opening the door to a sensational exit as a result.
Right now, Kane has four options.
Bayern Munich are keen on acquiring the forward, with Thomas Tuchel looking to win the Champions League next season.
The Bundesliga giants have had two bids for Kane rejected so far.
Yet they're expected to maintain their pursuit, with Tuchel convinced the Tottenham striker would be the ideal replacement for Sadio Mane.
Another option for Kane could be Manchester United.
Erik ten Hag wants a new centre-forward, having already landed Mason Mount and Andre Onana so far this summer.
And Kane is believed to be open to moving to Old Trafford, though Levy would likely prefer to sell his star performer abroad instead.
Over the weekend, it emerged Al-Hilal have an interest in Kane as well.
The Saudi Pro League has been splashing the cash this summer with a host of top players opting to move to the Middle East.
England icon Steven Gerrard has been appointed as manager of Al-Ettifaq, with Jordan Henderson primed to follow.
And if Kane decides to pursue a completely different adventure, he may follow in their footsteps.
A fourth option, of course, is staying at Tottenham.
But with the north London giants failing to win a single trophy since 2008, that would be a risk as Kane enters the twilight years of his career.

Meanwhile, Tottenham star Son Heung-min claims the club must 'respect' Kane's decision on his future.
"I can’t say anything about the final decision because I don’t know anything," he said.
"Probably Harry doesn’t know. We just have to wait. The decision will be between the club and Harry and we have to respect it."
He added: "Harry has been fantastic for me. He’s always professional, always working hard. He’s never shown any thoughts about himself. There’s so much news going around it’s also not easy for him.
"But he’s captain at the moment and he’s working with the team. He doesn’t show any distractions. He is not bothered.
"He loves being here. I love him as a player."
