US Open star Jessica Pegula has billionaire parents but still prefers public transport
US Open star Jessica Pegula has opened up on why she prefers to travel by train than splash out on expensive cars.
Pegula filmed herself grabbing the Metro to Flushing Meadows where the US Open is played every year.
And fans have been loving watching the world No. 6 roughing it up on the subway when she could travel to the venue via any luxury vehicle she wants due to her immense wealth.
Her father Terry is worth a whopping £5.1billion ($6.8billion) according to Forbes and owns NFL side Buffalo Bills alongside his wife Kim.

He also is the owner of NHL outfit Buffalo Sabres, having made his money as a natural gas businessman.
Pegula, who has made a pretty penny herself through prize money throughout her tennis career, could afford luxury cars or even a helicopter if she wanted.
But the 30-year-old opened up on Instagram why she decided to make her own way to the USTA Billie Jean King Tennis Centre.
She said: “Why am I taking the metro? I don’t like taking a car and I like trains.
“I always try and take the train. Actually in juniors I used to sometimes take the train to the courts.

“I do like taking the trains to go to a lot of baseball games. I went to a Yankees game the other day.
“My agent makes fun of me for not wanting to take a nice car.
“We actually went to Flushing [by car] one time, it took like an hour and a half in the car and I wanted to like throw up.
"I was ready to like jump out of the car and walk to the site. On the way back we took the subway.”

In response, some of her tennis colleagues got in touch including retired British star Laura Robson who commented: "People's princess."
Tennis star Victoria Azarenka also replied: "You are the best."
Pegula has booked herself into the second round of the US Open after beating Shelby Rogers 6-4 6-3.

It turned out to be Rogers' final match of her career, having revealed that she would retire before the tournament got underway.
As for Pegula, she will now face Sofia Kenin, who beat Emma Raducanu on Tuesday night to progress to the next round.
British tennis legend Tim Henman was left disappointed by the 21-year-old, making a U-turn on his earlier praise.
