Emma Raducanu has shared a picture of herself smiling on a night out before hitting the gym as she prepares for her tennis comeback.

The 21-year-old has been out of action ever since she picked up a foot injury last month.

Raducanu was forced to withdraw from the China Open and Wuhan Open, two tournaments she'd been looking forward to playing in.

She also had no choice but to pull out of the Ningbo Open and Guangzhou Open, too.

But, as Raducanu nears a return to action, the 21-year-old appears to be in good spirits.

The tennis star shared a blurry picture of herself on a night out, with Raducanu wearing a big smile on her face.

Yet anyone who thinks she isn't taking her return seriously would be wrong, with Raducanu then sharing a video of herself working in the gym hours later.

The 2021 US Open champion filmed herself working out on an exercise bike, pouting and waving to the camera.

When Raducanu does make her return at the Hong Kong Tennis Open at the end of the month, it will be fascinating to see how she fares.

There's no denying she has the talent to win more Grand Slams going forward, having previously shocked the world with her US Open triumph three years ago.

Raducanu, speaking after her early elimination from the same tournament in August, vowed to play more and to manage her schedule better.

And she's also warned her rivals that she's ready to cause some 'serious damage' in 2025, once she's fully fit.

Meanwhile, Raducanu recently reflected on how winning her first Grand Slam at the age of 18 changed her world.

Speaking to Women's Health Magazine, she said it was 'crazy' to see the paparazzi outside her house.

"I remember pulling up and seeing paparazzi outside my house," she told the publication.

"It was crazy, but as soon as I went inside to my family and friends, everything felt pretty relaxed.
