Emma Raducanu subject of dating joke amid Carlos Alcaraz rumours ahead of US Open

Tennis star Paula Badosa has joked that she's dating Emma Raducanu amid Carlos Alcaraz romance rumours.
Raducanu is currently believed to be single, having split from billionaire boyfriend Carlo Agostinelli earlier in the year, and is currently in America as the start of the US Open looms.
Tennis fans have wildly claimed that Raducanu is dating Alcaraz, however, who often likes her posts on social media.
The Briton, who won the US Open against all odds back in 2021, recently paid a visit to a Nike store in New York where she received a customised bag with 'Emmita' spraypainted on it.

Ryan Humphrey, the artist who did the design, took to Instagram and said that Raducanu had requested the 'Spanish version of her name'.
One fan thinks it's a hint that she's dating a Spaniard.
Sharing the image of Raducanu at the Nike store, they said: "Either dating Carlos or Paula."
And Badosa has now responded with a joke, with the tennis star saying: "Obviously me."

Alcaraz sent fans into a frenzy by liking Raducanu's most recent Instagram post, adding fuel to the rumours currently surrounding the pair.
There is, however, nothing to currently suggest that the pair are romantically involved.
Earlier this summer, there were rumours that Alcaraz was in a relationship with Maria Gonzalez Giminez.
But neither individual has confirmed anything, with both preferring to keep their personal life private.
Raducanu, meanwhile, has told Sky Sports that she feels in a good place as she looks to win the US Open again.
The 21-year-old has struggled with injuries in recent years, something that has hampered her development as a result.
But Raducanu says she's been playing 'freer in the last month', something that bodes well as she looks to make history out in New York.
"I just play so much better when I'm happy and putting my personality out there," Raducanu said. "I think I've been playing a lot freer in the last month.

"I have been expressing myself, I've been fighting and there has been a lot of passion, I've been feisty.
"And that's me. I'm really tenacious and gritty."
When quizzed further, she added: "I would say I've fluctuated.
"I think in the past I was always playing a role and sometimes I wasn't enjoying certain moments freely and carefree.

"I'm a lot better now at just expressing myself."
Raducanu will face Sofia Kenin in their first round clash on Tuesday. She will have to upset the home crowd to go through, with Kenin set to have the support of the American fans in attendance.
