Australian Open star Corentin Moutet has revealed he collapsed in the shower before his match with Learner Tien on Saturday.
The 25-year-old had gone into the contest hoping to progress to found four after previous victories over Alexei Popyrin and Mitchell Krueger.
Yet that didn't happen, with Tien winning 7-6, 6-3, 6-3 to advance.
Speaking after his defeat, Moutet revealed he collapsed in the shower before the match.

He told French newspaper L'Equipe: “I felt unwell 45 minutes before the game in the shower.
"I don’t know what happened. I was in the shower, and I woke up on the floor.
"Everything was black, I couldn’t see."
The 25-year-old then revealed that he has a 'black hole' in his memory, describing the experience as 'a little disturbing'.

“I have a black hole, I don’t know exactly what happened," he continued.
"I just know that I spent 15 minutes in the dark. It was a little disturbing.
“I didn’t have time to consult [a doctor] because I had my game, I had to warm up.
"Very quickly, we tried to do balance exercises to find my visual markers because I was a little confused.”

Despite his terrifying ordeal, Moutet refused to blame his collapse on his defeat and instead hailed his opponent.
“No, you never lose for a reason. He has been better in all areas. I tried to hold it physically," he continued.
On X, he added: "Respect to my opponent.
"I fought until the end with the means of the day, but he was better. I can only admit that he was better. Well done to him.”
