Andy Murray is participating in both the men’s doubles and mixed doubles at Wimbledon.

Andy Murray will be back playing at Wimbledon today as he kickstarts his men’s doubles campaign with his brother Jamie.

The three-time Grand Slam champion is playing at Wimbledon for the last time in his career and is doing everything he can to prolong his stay at SW19.

He originally wanted to compete in the singles draw one final time as he doesn’t want to retire on a match withdrawal.

But he felt the singles at Wimbledon came too quickly after his surgery last week and pulled out of his scheduled match with Tomas Machac on Tuesday.

Murray may not be playing in the singles, but he remained in the doubles draw with his brother Jamie.

There was some contention as to when the Murray brothers would play.

But they’ve been given a prime time slot on Centre Court on Thursday.

Young British star Jacob Fearnley will kick things off on Centre Court in a huge match against seven-time Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic.

That match is scheduled to start at 1.30pm and will start on time with or without the roof on.

World No 1 Iga Swiatek will follow that match in her second-round clash against Petra Martic.

The Murray brothers are the final match scheduled on Centre Court as they face Australian duo Rinky Hijikata and John Peers.

Their start time depends on how long the two matches before them take.

Djokovic needed just under two hours to get through his first-round match on Tuesday against Vit Kopriva.

And Swiatek took just one hour and 19 minutes to defeat Sofia Kenin in her opening match of the tournament.

If both players are able to win in a similar time frame then Murray could take to the court by 5pm BST.

But both Fearnley and Martic will be hoping to cause an upset on Centre Court.

Thursday won’t be the last time Murray plays at Wimbledon either, even if he loses in the men’s doubles as he has joined forces with Emma Raducanu to play in the mixed doubles too.

That draw is set to get underway on Friday with the British pair scheduled to face Marcelo Arevalo and Zhang Shuai.
