Andy Murray gave Jack Draper a brutal comment about his new look

Andy Murray has brutally mocked fellow British tennis star Jack Draper's new blonde highlights in a hilarious social media exchange.

The three-time Grand Slam champion didn't hold back when commenting on Draper's recent Instagram post showcasing his preparation for the upcoming clay season.

"Not sure if you noticed but I think a bird has [poo emoji] on your hair in that photo," Murray quipped.

The British No. 1 has yet to respond to Murray's cheeky jibe about his subtle appearance change.

Draper has been enjoying a remarkable rise in the tennis world, most notably with his triumph at Indian Wells last month.

The 23-year-old Brit produced a stunning run in the Californian desert, defeating an impressive lineup of opponents.

He overcame American Taylor Fritz, followed by compatriot Ben Shelton, before dispatching Spanish sensation Carlos Alcaraz.

Draper completed his conquest by beating Denmark's Holger Rune in the final to claim his first Masters 1000 title.

This victory firmly established the young Briton as the world No. 7.

His momentum was halted at the Miami Open, where he suffered an early exit to Jakub Mensik in his opening match.

However, this defeat came with a silver lining as Mensik went on to claim the title by beating Novak Djokovic in the final.

The early elimination allowed Draper to return home to recharge before the clay court season begins.

He has been training diligently at the National Tennis Centre over the past week.

Draper shared a photo collection on Instagram featuring training sessions with fellow Brit Jacob Fearnley and moments from his downtime.

Draper faced challenges during last year's clay swing, suffering multiple tight three-set losses.

The British star appears determined to turn his fortunes around on the surface in 2025.

"I think I'm going feel a lot better on the clay this year considering the last 12 months I've had and the belief I have," Draper said after his Indian Wells triumph.

"But also I feel like I've got a lot to prove and I'm really motivated to be back on that surface and show that I can produce results on every type of court."

The retired British icon spent the last month in America with Djokovic's camp at Indian Wells and Miami.

The Serbian reached his first final since October at the Miami Open but lost to Mensik in two tiebreak sets.

Djokovic appeared to struggle with an eye injury during the match but refused to make excuses, saying: "I prefer to just congratulate him. That's it."
