The incident occurred during a segment featuring women's snooker stars in Sheffield.
Several spectators quickly rushed to help the man who collapsed whilst watching the broadcast.
The concerning moment happened during what has been described as an unseasonably warm day in Sheffield, with heat appearing to be a factor.

The man, who was wearing sunglasses and a blue T-shirt, was seen taking several deep breaths and rubbing his forehead moments before the incident.
He was watching presenter Abigail Davies interview women's snooker stars Daisy May Oliver and Hannah Jones.
Footage captured the moment he suddenly fell to his right and collapsed to the ground.
The scene unfolded as viewers watched the live broadcast from the Winter Gardens area adjacent to the main Crucible venue.
Half a dozen other spectators immediately came to the man's aid to ensure his wellbeing.
The fan was soon back on his feet after the frightening incident.

He was reportedly suffering from dehydration due to the hot conditions at the venue.
A large glass of water was quickly provided to the spectator after he regained consciousness.
The quick response from those nearby helped ensure the situation was resolved without serious consequences.

BBC presenter Hazel Irvine later provided viewers with an update on the man's condition.
"It's certainly hot here in the Winter Gardens," Irvine said. "You might have seen earlier on when Abi (Davies) was interviewing some of the top women players in the game, there was a little incident behind her."
"A gentleman fainted. He's absolutely fine, just a wee bit dehydrated. He's now been given a very large glass of water and an ice cream. Everything is A-OK."
The broadcaster reassured viewers that the situation had been resolved without any serious concerns.

China's Zhao Xintong was ahead 6-2 against Chris Wakelin after their opening sessions.
Ronnie O'Sullivan's match against Si Jiahui and Luca Brecel's clash with world number one Judd Trump were set to begin on Thursday afternoon.
The remaining quarter-final matches were scheduled to return for the evening session.
