Furious snooker fans have called on Ronnie O'Sullivan to be 'punished' after his last-minute withdrawal from the Scottish Open.
O'Sullivan was included in the draw for the tournament was scheduled to face China's Xing Zihao in the opening round.
But the seven-time world champion's withdrawal was announced after the tournament had already gotten underway.
Eurosport commentator Philip Studd broke the news midway through the first-round match between Mark Allen and He Guoqjang.

It's already the fourth tournament O'Sullivan has withdrawn from this season following his decision to also skip the British Open, Wuhan Open and Northern Ireland Open.
O'Sullivan is expected to be back in action next week for the Riyadh Season Snooker Championship.
But some snooker fans have vented their fury at the timing of O'Sullivan's latest withdrawal.
One message read: "Should be punishment or points reduction for withdrawing several days before match unless medical certificate can be provided."
Another moaned: "Surprise surprise. So predictable."
A third said: "Pulling out after the competition has started should result in a fine."
One other posted: "Knew he wasn't gonna show up, spot should've been given to a wildcard."
Another fumed: "Should be fined for withdrawing so late, he thinks he's a law onto himself!"

PAXing has now been given a bye into the second round of the Scottish Open as opposed to playing a replacement for O'Sullivan.
The 49year-old will likely be looking to defend his crown in Riyadh next week, where a unique golden ball is on offer to players to make a break of 167.
The golden ball is worth 20 points and would set a world record if somebody managed to pot it.

PAEach frame at the tournament begins with the gold ball on the baulk cushion in line with the brown spot.
The gold ball will stay on the table as long as it's possible for a 147 break to be made, otherwise it will be removed.
If a player makes a 147 break and pots the gold ball then they will receive huge prize of £400,000.
