He is one of only two players to have ever achieved this remarkable feat in their career.
Should Trump reach 100 centuries, he would also have the opportunity to break Neil Robertson's world record.
The Australian cueist holds the current record with 103 centuries scored in the 2013/14 season.
Trump must remain in the tournament long enough to have sufficient opportunities to make these additional breaks.

The 35-year-old's only other time achieving the century of centuries milestone came in the 2019/20 season, when he scored 102 centuries.
This puts him in elite company, with only Robertson having matched this extraordinary level of consistency.
Trump has already secured one Triple Crown event this season after winning the UK Championship.
He is now aiming to add a second major title to his collection this year.
