Golf star Shane Lowry has terminated his sponsorship deal with building materials company Kingspan after a report into the Grenfell disaster broke.
In 2017, 72 people tragically lost their lives after a fire at the Grenfell Tower in west London.
Earlier this month, a report into the loss of life discovered that the building was covered in a combustible material.
It was reported that the companies responsible for selling and providing the cladding did so with 'systemic dishonesty'.

It was further claimed that Kingspan 'knowingly created a false market in insulation', though it did clear the company of responsibility for the fire.
Nevertheless, a damning statement revealed that they had shown 'complete disregard' for fire safety.
Kingspan has since been dropped by Lowry, who had a sponsorship deal with the company, and release a statement on the decision.
He said: "Kingspan and I have mutually agreed to discontinue our sponsorship relationship.
"Which we believe to be the right decision for all concerned at this time.

"Neither party will be commenting further.”
There had been calls for Lowry, who is set to take part in the Irish Open this week, to drop Kingspan previously by campaigners after the logo on his sleeve was deemed 'deeply offensive'.

A statement from Grenfell United read: “We first presented Shane Lowry with the Inquiry’s evidence three years ago, so we are pleased he has made the right decision to cut ties with Kingspan.
"We now call on all other sports professionals to follow suit and play their part to create a legacy for the 72 innocent lives that were cut short at Grenfell.”

Irishman Lowry was pressed on the matter ahead of his home event this week and he said: "I can't imagine what those families have gone through the last few years.
"I'm not going to sit here and talk too much about it.
"It's obviously a touchy subject. My heart goes out to them and it is what it is now for me and Kingspan."
