South Africa rugby head coach Rassie Erasmus has branded England a "desperate team" ahead of their upcoming clash at Twickenham.
The warning comes as Steve Borthwick's side face mounting pressure following their second consecutive Autumn Nations Series defeat, with losses to both Australia and New Zealand.
England's last victory came nearly five months ago in June when they thrashed Japan 52-17.
The Springboks, who triumphed 32-15 against Scotland at Murrayfield on Sunday, will face an England team searching to end their losing streak.
Erasmus has cautioned his players to expect a determined response from the struggling English side.
England's latest setback came in a dramatic 42-37 defeat to Australia on Saturday, with Max Jorgenson scoring a last-gasp try for the Wallabies.
Borthwick's men appeared to have secured victory when Marcus Smith converted Maro Itoje's try in the 78th minute.

However, they were unable to maintain their narrow advantage in the final moments of the match.
This followed another close defeat to New Zealand, who edged England 24-22 in their 2024 Autumn Internationals opener.
Speaking ahead of the Twickenham clash, Erasmus emphasised the unique challenge his team faces.
"Twickenham will be a different kind of pressure," Erasmus said. "It's a very desperate team, who have lost two matches now."
The Springboks coach highlighted England's recent near-misses as a cause for concern.
"England is now that desperate team who almost beat New Zealand, almost beat Australia, so it's going to be a very tough game," he added.
Former England World Cup winner Matt Dawson has criticised the team's late-game collapse against Australia.
"How many times have England had the game under their control and they go back to this dreaded box kick? It gets them in trouble every single time," Dawson said.
The pundit praised England's initial performance but was scathing about their finish.
"For 65 minutes, England were fantastic. In the last 15 minutes, they were rubbish," he added.
The upcoming match marks the first encounter between the two sides since South Africa's dramatic World Cup semi-final victory in France last year.

Borthwick could come under further pressure as England boss should he suffer a fifth consecutive defeat.
However, the Rugby Football Union has maintained its stance behind the England boss.
The RFU has pledged their "100 per cent support" for Borthwick, viewing the current run of defeats differently from the struggles under former manager Eddie Jones.
