Travis Kelce is aiming to become a four-time Super Bowl champion with the Kansas City Chiefs this weekend.

Travis Kelce jokingly batted off questions from two reporters asking whether he planned to propose to Taylor Swift at the Super Bowl this year.

Kelce credited his relationship with Swift as a source of motivation for his continued high performance on the field.

"I better hold up my end of the bargain," he said.

"If she's out here being the superstar she is, never taking no for an answer, and always working her tail off, I better match that energy for sure."

The Chiefs star expressed confidence in their shared approach to success.

He added: "I think we both love to manifest things. You can't say it's not real because we're here, right?"

When pressed about potential proposal plans after the Super Bowl, Kelce swiftly deflected the question, responding: "A Super Bowl ring? Next question."

A follow-up attempt by another reporter was met with similar resistance. "Man, back-to-back? You guys are crazy," Kelce replied.

Despite speculation about Swift's team loyalty given her Pennsylvania roots and the Eagles' presence in the Super Bowl, Kelce was confident about her allegiance.

"I know her father is an Eagles fan," he said. "But she'll be all for the Chiefs this time around for sure."

Kelce also firmly dismissed retirement speculation ahead of Sunday's Super Bowl, insisting he plans to continue his career with the Kansas City Chiefs.

The 35-year-old tight end addressed his future plans during the Super Bowl's opening night event in New Orleans.

"I love doing this, I love coming into work every day," Kelce told the gathered international media. "I feel like I still have a lot of good football left in me."

When asked about his three-year outlook, Kelce was emphatic: "Hopefully still playing football. I plan on being a Kansas City Chief and playing football."

Despite a dip in his regular season performance, Kelce has shown his playoff prowess remains intact.

His 2024 season saw him record 97 catches, though with reduced output of 823 yards and three touchdowns.
