The Kansas City Chiefs star is currently considering his future

Taylor Swift will stand by Travis Kelce no matter what he decides when it comes to his NFL future, according to reports.

The Kansas City Chiefs star is currently mulling over what to do next after his side recently lost the Super Bowl to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Kelce is an NFL legend, having won the Super Bowl three times during his career.

His first triumph came back in 2020, with the Chiefs star then helping his team to glory in 2023 and 2024.

However, given everything he's achieved, Kelce is now mulling over whether to return to the NFL.

The tight-end has been in a relationship with Swift for 18 months, with engagement rumours starting to swirl as a result.

And Swift, according to a US Weekly insider, plans to stand by her boyfriend - no matter what he decides.

Kelce previously revealed that the pop star was a big supporter of his American Football career. Speaking in January, he disclosed: She's fully encouraging me to enjoy playing this game.

"She loves coming to Arrowhead and coming to the games and cheering for me, so I got all the support in the world to keep chasing these dreams."

Swift was actually booed at the Super Bowl earlier this month.

The singer's face flashed across the big screen, with those in attendance in New Orleans jeering her.

To make matters worse, Donald Trump then mocked Swift on his Truth Social platform - in a move that Kelce is said to feel was 'unncessary'.

Meanwhile, the Chiefs star recently opened up on his decision to consider retirement.

He admits that a long career in the NFL has impacted his body - leaving a lot of 'wear and tear'.

The 35-year-old said: “I know everybody wants to know whether I’m playing next year and right now, I’m just kicking everything down the road.

"I’m kicking every can I can down the road. I’m not making any crazy decisions.

“I’ve been fortunate over the past five, six years, I’ve played more football than anybody. It’s because of the people that are in that building.

"The fact that we keep going to these AFC championships and these Super Bowls, that means I’m playing an extra three games more than everybody else in the entire league.

"That’s a lot of wear and tear on your body and it’s a lot of time spent in the building, focusing on your craft, focusing on the task at hand and every challenge that you set up for yourself.”

He added: “As you see yourself or not feel yourself have the success you once had, it’s a tough pill to swallow.

“For that not to be there in the biggest moments, knowing your team’s counting on you, those are all extremely hard things … it’s just a tough reality.

“I think I owe it to my teammates that if I do come back, it’s going to be something that it’s a whole-hearted decision.

"Not half-a**ing it. I’m fully here for them and I think I could play.

"It’s just whether or not I’m motivated or it’s the best decision for me as a man, as a human and as a person to take on all of that responsibility."
